Hi, I’m Kelly, your next boudoir photographer and you can find me at Unlaced Boudoir in the Denver area of Colorado.  

Get to know me. I grew up in the south/central part of New Jersey where my parents divorced during my teenage years and I spent the rest of my time being raised by my father. This time was pivotal for me. I was very much into all of the sports all year round, I would dare to say I was a Tom Boy and jock. Despite constantly being involved in sports and athletics, my weight was always a battle for me. I went to College at Bloomsburg University where I played rugby and studied business. After graduation I entered to corporate business world living near Hershey, Pennsylvania before starting a family after moving back to New Jersey (north). This where I had my 2 beautiful children, Emersyn and Landon.  

Covid created opportunity that we never thought was possibly and it was a now or never move while the kids were young to take the risk to move across the country to the Denver area leaving behind all of our family and the life we knew. Less than a week after landing in Colorado I got the call from home no one ever wants to get. Dad had an unexpected medical emergency and in ICU. I jumped on the plane right away back to New Jersey and spent what were my fathers last days by his side. Like most parents, he wasn’t thrilled about my family moving 2,000 miles away but he tried to support me as much as possible. Loosing my father rocked my world like I could have never imagined and completely changed my outlook on life. Here I was a 38 year old mother of two, 2,000 miles from any family and felt lost. My father would never see my kids grow up or what my life would amount to. I was still working my corporate job during the day and wife and mother by night figuring out what my new routine of life was.  

It was at that moment after loosing my father at the young age of 61, the old statement “Life is too short” kept ringing through my head. I knew there was more I needed to do to bring more happiness to my life.  In fact, life was too short to not live it to the fullest. I had done a boudoir session while living in New Jersey a couple years prior to moving to Colorado and didn’t know then the impact it would have on me to change my life.  

I went into the session with no expectations close to my highest weight post-pregnancies but it was something I wanted to do. I left that session feeling so empowered, sexy and just not the typical wife and mother I had grown to be with a 9-5.

I decided it was time to grab hold of my health and happiness and that is just what did. After some time, I realized I wanted to be able to share what I was feeling with others. So I picked up a camera and decided it was my time to shift focus and make other women feel empowered, sexy and beautiful in their own skin. Push their comfort levels just enough to see a different side of someone that has always been there, but hidden under fear. 

I am here to be your biggest, badass supporter, sultriest conductor, wild side advocate, and booty connoisseur!!! Whether this session is for you or as a gift for someone that has captured your heart, I’m here for it!!
